Job Description
ABOUT OUR PROGRAMME
Our traineeship programme is designed to bring you fast-track into a senior expert role in your chosen field. As a trainee, you will have the chance to work in specialized areas, exciting projects and gain exposure to different departments and leaders. In addition, you can complete an assignment in one of our METRO countries, providing a truly international experience.
In our trainee programme in Supply Chain Management, you gain first-hand experience how to ensure high availability for our customers while maintaining the most efficient amount of inventory and logistic costs. For this, you will collaborate with Demand Planning, Logistic & Transport Operations as well as Regional Distribution Centers and our International Logistics entity. You will accompany seasoned experts during process optimization and automation of planning and stock management and monitor food-related Quality Assurance. During your assignment in related areas of Procurement and Own Brands, you will shape your expertise regarding sourcing food, defining assortment ranges and technical packaging.

Qualifications
What you need to bring to the table to be eligible:
- A master's degree in business/economics with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field with very good results
- Engagement in extra-curricular activities is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient skills in Office 365, especially Excel
- A passion for learning and growth
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
