Job Description

How will you make an impact? 

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Teamlead HR IT - Squad Lead Employee Experience (m/f/d) responsible for maximizing the business outcome of the squad and achieving squad KPIs as agreed on with the Platform Lead. They are accountable for achieving the squad defined KPIs, resulting from the ABR/QBR process. The Squad Leads act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering feedback and managing expectations to ensure alignment with business goals. 

They can have besides functional leadership for all squad members disciplinary leadership responsibility for a number of business experts. 

Key Responsibilities:   

Lead the Squad with Clear Ownership & Accountability 

  • Take full responsibility for the squad’s business and technical outcomes, including product/solution/service lifecycle, costs, benefits, and business impact. 
  • Remove roadblocks, take decisions, and steer the squad to deliver against agreed KPIs. 
  • Drive a high-performance culture by empowering the team to proactively solve problems. 
  • Translate business needs into actionable squad strategies aligned with the overall platform mission and business objectives. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends and integrate them into squad strategies. 

Manage Squad Backlogs & Roadmaps 

  • Own execution of squad objectives (ABR/QBR process), ensuring measurable business value. 
  • Prioritize squad backlog, create epics/user stories, and align them with strategic goals. 
  • Apply Agile/Lean methodologies to continuously update detailed roadmaps. 
  • Measure success based on business impact, not just delivery timelines. 

Foster a Strong, Cross-Functional Team Culture 

  • Act as a servant leader—empowering, coaching, mentoring, and unblocking the team. 
  • Promote collaboration across business, tech, and country members. 
  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to deliver high-quality products and services. 

Own Stakeholder Engagement and Dependency Resolution 

  • Align with Platform Leads, Skill Chapter Leads, and other Squads for seamless collaboration. 
  • Take ownership of dependencies and risks, resolving cross-team challenges proactively. 
  • Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering feedback and managing expectations. 

People Management  

  • Provide leadership for your cross-functional squad. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, ensuring development and professional growth. 
  • Lead hiring processes to ensure the right talent joins the squad. 
  • Facilitate career development and progression paths for squad members. 

Qualifications

Required key competencies and qualifications:

  • 8+ years of work experience in area of expertise;
  • Strong business-IT integration skills, combining functional requirements with technical delivery. 
  • Hands-on SAP Fiori expertise – designing and implementing intuitive self-service solutions for employees and managers. 
  • Proven system integration experience, especially SAP interface setup (HR Core, Payroll, Time Management, and Cloud solutions). 
  • Familiarity with People & Culture cloud solutions, such as Cornerstone, SmartRecruiters, Adobe eSign, or Oracle HCM. 
  • High level of expertise in digital product management, including creating and executing product strategies in complex, dynamic environments. 
  • Proven functional leadership in a matrix organization. 
  • Experience in leading delivery of IT-related topics with strong business alignment. 
  • Excellent communication skills with very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
