Job Description

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMME 

Our traineeship programme is designed to bring you fast-track into a senior expert role in your chosen field. You will work on strategic and cross-functional projects, gaining hands-on experience in project management, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. Through exposure to dashboards, KPIs, and planning systems, you will build strong analytical capabilities that are essential in modern Supply Chain Management. 

In the Supply Chain Management track, you will learn how to ensure high product availability while balancing working capital and cost-to-serve considerations. You will collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Logistics & Transport Operations, our Regional Distribution Centers, and International Logistics. Together with experienced colleagues, you will apply Lean and continuous improvement methods, contribute to digital enablement initiatives, and support automation of planning workflows. Your assignment in Procurement and Own Brands will further deepen your understanding of sourcing, forecasting accuracy, and inventory-related KPIs.

Qualifications

What you need to bring to the table to be eligible: 

  • A master's degree in business/economics with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field with very good results 
  • Relevant internships or first experience in project-based work, ideally in cross-functional or international environments, with exposure to basic project management methodologies 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with large datasets and interpret KPIsAbility to learn quickly, adaptability to new and changing environments, open and pro-active personality  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, and first exposure to BI tools (e.g. Power BI) 
  • Ideally initial exposure to demand or supply planning tools / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics) 
  • Fluency in English (min. B2); any additional European language is a plus
