METRO Instagram Raffle - Terms and Conditions

The raffle will take place from December 4th to December 11th, 2025. Participation is open to individuals who follow the @metro_careers Instagram account and leave a comment under the official Christmas Raffle post during the raffle period. To enter, participants must guess the correct total value of the shopping cart items featured in the post and submit their answer in the comments section of the original post. Participants must also like the original post to be eligible.

Organizer and Acknowledgement of Terms and Conditions

1. The raffle is organized by METRO AG, Metro-Straße 1, 40235 Düsseldorf, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "METRO").
2. By participating in the raffle, users explicitly acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions
3. Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions may result in exclusion from the raffle.

Eligibility

1. Participation is open to individuals aged 18 years and older and who are residents of Germany.
2. Employees of METRO and its affiliated companies, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.

Participation

1. To participate in the raffle, entrants must follow the Instagram Career Account of METRO (@metro_careers) and comment on the official raffle post during the participation period from December 4th to December 11th, 2025.
2. The comment must contain the participant’s guess of the correct total value of the shopping cart items shown in the post. Participants must also like the original post to qualify.
3. Participation is free of charge, and there is no obligation to purchase any products or use any services to enter.

Prize

1. The prize consists of a Christmas-themed package of selected METRO own-brand products.
2. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Winner Selection and Announcement

1. The winner will be selected from all eligible participants who have guessed the correct total value of the shopping cart items.
2. If no participant guesses the exact price, the winner will be the participant whose guess is closest to the correct total value.
3. The winner will be determined through a random draw if there are multiple participants whose guess is closest to the correct value.
4. The winner will be notified via direct message from METRO on Instagram and must respond within 10 working days of the notification.
5. The prize will be delivered exclusively by mail to the winner or their legal representative. The prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
6. If the winner fails to respond after two contact attempts within one week or refuses to provide their delivery address, METRO reserves the right to select another winner.

Exclusion from the Raffle

1. METRO reserves the right to exclude participants who manipulate or attempt to manipulate the raffle, or who violate these Terms and Conditions.

Premature Termination

METRO reserves the right to cancel or terminate the raffle at any time, without prior notice, for technical reasons, legal grounds, or other circumstances beyond its control.

Data Protection

1. Personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the raffle, including winner notification and prize delivery.
2. Data will be deleted within three months after the raffle ends unless further retention is required by law.
3. The data will not be shared with third parties.

2. This raffle is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
