What would your ‘first-day-you’ be surprised to know about your journey today?

My first-day-me would definitely be surprised to learn how long I have been with the company. I joined in December 2017 as a Rollout Manager, bringing our products to the countries. Over time, I took on new challenges: I took over the sales enablement team, acting as a bridge between sales and product/tech. Since September 2023, I have been leading the supply chain for DISH Digital Solutions. This journey has been full of opportunities, challenges, and a lot of fun!

What’s one thing people might not expect about your role?

What people might not expect is how hands-on my role is. Because many processes are still being defined, I can help shape the way we work from the start and see how everything connects in the end. That has given me the chance to learn a lot and work on many different tasks and projects.

What do you value most about working at METRO?

The colleagues: they are open‑minded and international. I also appreciate the many opportunities to connect beyond work, whether that’s at the coffee bar, in the canteen, at the gym, or through the ambassador programme.

What part of your day-to-day work do you enjoy most, and why?

What I enjoy most is teamwork and accomplishing challenging things together. One example was when we moved and internalised our Fulfillment Centre. By working closely and collaborating together, we managed the transition smoothly. For me, that was a real OneMETRO moment.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I like trying new things! I love sports (I’m currently into Hyrox) as well as travelling, trying new recipes and discovering new restaurants.
