Job description

Please note, that this position is limited to 18 months.
What you will do:
- Develop and design packaging for a wide range of Own Brand products across various categories.
- Create and maintain international design & style guidelines to ensure brand consistency.
- Translate product information and data into compelling visual elements for packaging artwork.
- Ensure packaging designs adhere to all relevant European packaging regulations and standards.
- Develop master data for packaging information across different sales channels, including online platforms.
- Collaborate with international teams and provide support and best practices related to packaging design.
- Manage project-related design costs and handle the associated invoicing process.
What you bring to the table:
- University degree in design, packaging technologies, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of European packaging standardization and legislation.
- Proven ability to develop creative and visually appealing packaging concepts.
- Experience with translating product data into impactful artwork for packaging.
- Excellent organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Please note that all job opportunities at METRO AG require that you live in/move to Germany and can be in office in Düsseldorf at least 2 times per week. We don't offer 100% remote opportunities.
