Your focus will be on diverse and complex finance-related tasks. Here you will make a decisive contribution to the success of our international M&A projects.
- You will manage the financial workstream on M&A projects.
- You will actively coordinate with the M&A, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Controlling and Treasury departments as well as the operating units and build up a broad network within the Group.
- You will be responsible for the financial due diligence processes, coordinating with external advisors, preparing purchase price mechanisms, and managing the closing accounts process.
- At the same time, you will analyse business plans and valuation models, prepare scenario calculations, and prepare or support valuations and PPAs.
- You will assess strategic projects in terms of their benefits for METRO's relevant performance indicators and make recommendations for decisions.
- You forecast the effects of transactions on METRO's key financial indicators and create simulations and integrated financial models.
- You will draft and negotiate relevant sections in SPAs.
- You have at least five years of professional experience in a transaction-related environment, e.g. in transaction advisory services of a consulting company.
- You are familiar with M&A processes and the associated financial matters (e.g. purchase price mechanism/EV to equity bridge).
- You have graduated in Finance with an above-average degree.
- In addition to a strong focus on results, we value robust analytical skills that allow you to comprehend the significance of individual key figures and their interrelations for the entire METRO Group, enabling you to derive the most effective measures.
- You appreciate a holistic approach and cross-functional collaborations in a dynamic and international environment.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities, and you manage your stakeholders and partners even without a direct reporting line.
- You enjoy taking initiative, assume responsibility, and prefer working independently with a high level of commitment.
- You are fluent in business English; proficiency in other languages is considered advantageous.
