The purpose of a role is:

..to ensure that, regular security controls activities are performed to identify areas of improvements with respect to information security within METRO AG and also making sure whether effective and robust technical and organizational measures are in place for any kind of identified risks.

Your tasks:

• Conduct security assessments, coordinate audits, and reviews to identify vulnerabilities in METRO AG.
• Overlook the security validation programs for identifying the needed organizational measures to manage risks to increase the overall level maturity of information security.
• Perform security validations (pen-testing, red and purple teaming) on devices, applications, networks, APIs, and infrastructure to identify potential risks.
• Plan security validations in alignment with relevant management and performs coordination of external audits.
• Supports in internal audits on cybersecurity related topics.
• Design, operate and maintain audit response workflows.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security assurance.
• Proven experience in conducting security assessments and implementing security controls.
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
   
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Proficient in risk assessment and management methodologies.
• Knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with incident response planning and execution.
• Ability to develop and deliver security awareness training programs.
